(ABC 6 News) -- The numbers are in for the 3rd Annual Crow Hunt in Rochester.

Nineteen teams participated and more than 250 birds were hunted down.

This hunt aims to take Rochester's fight against crows into their own hands.

Last year, nearly thirty groups participated and killed more than 400 birds.

This year, with fewer participants, the families who got into the action had a great time anyway.

Wyatt Anderson and his son, Craig, were some of those who joined the hunt, "Little spring fever you know, cooped up inside all winter and get out, have a little fun and help out with the crow population."

The Andersons with their retriever were able to track down 62 crows.

The teams hunted all day Saturday and the counting was done today.
