(KSTP) - St. Patrick's Day is Monday, but there are celebrations all weekend long across the Twin Cities.

If you'd like to participate in the "Luck of the Irish" this weekend, there are many different places to celebrate St. Paddy's Day on Sunday and Monday.

Over in St. Paul at the Landmark Center you can catch the "Irish Day of Dance." Come check out traditional music, fancy footwork, and of course traditional Irish cuisine. This two-day Irish event runs on Sunday and Monday.

On Monday take your lunch break in downtown St. Paul and join the annual St. Patrick's Day parade. The bagpipes will be blaring starting at noon. Make sure to dress in green, or you'll stick out amongst the crowds.

And if you just can't get enough of the Irish festivities, another parade will be held in downtown Minneapolis after work. That parade marches down Nicollet mall starting at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.

If you imbibe in a little too much St. Paddy's Day fun, all metro transit buses will offer free rides starting Monday night at 6 p.m., courtesy of Miller Lite.

Keep an eye out for a green food truck; Finnegans Beer is collecting food for local food shelves. Their reverse food truck will be out and about all weekend long.
