(ABC 6 News) -- After an investigation by the Minnesota Department of Health the Holiday Inn waterpark and pool in Owatonna is reopening.
Dozens of children became sick last week after swimming there. Thursday we're told the hotel plans to open their waterpark and pool by 9 a.m. Friday.
The Owatonna Holiday Inn has been cooperating with the state health department during the investigation and has maintained quote, "the safety, comfort and well-being of our guests and employees is a top priority and concern."
An investigation was launched after children got sick from swimming in their pools. As we reported children experienced swollen eyes, rashes, and vomiting after being in the water.
At this point, its still not clear what caused the children to get sick, but we're told the hotel did get the go ahead to reopen their pool.
