The Rochester-Olmsted Youth Commission announced Tuesday that they will partner with the Jefferson Awards for Public Service and it's "Lead360 Challenge".

A news release from the office of Rochester Mayor Ardell Brede says the Lead360 Challenge is a nation wide contest where young people tell about projects they are involved in that give back to their communities.

Local youth groups are encouraged to go to the Lead360 website, sign up, explain their projects and post video and pictures to compete for prizes.

Last year the Jefferson Awards for public service drew 900,000 young people who were involved in more than 3,500 projects nationwide.
