(ABC 6 News) - A Canton man was arrested in Rochester after police say he dropped a bag of crack cocaine onto the ground in a school zone.

Police say squad car video shows Marcell Reynolds dropping the bag of crack cocaine during the traffic stop. They say the bag contained nearly a gram of crack cocaine.

Police say Reynolds was pulled over on the corner of 6th Street and 6th Avenue, next to Riverside Elementary School, around midnight on Tuesday. They say he gave them a false name and had a canceled driver’s license.

Reynolds is charged with possession of a 3rd degree controlled substance, providing a false name to police and driving with a canceled driver’s license.
