(ABC 6 NEWS) -- Following a strong burst of snow Tuesday night and early Wednesday, road conditions continue to be difficult throughout much of southeast Minnesota.

MnDOT shows that interstate 90 from west of Austin all the way to the Stewartville exit is snow covered and considered difficult.

Conditions are expected to improve, this morning major roads in Albert Lea and Rochester were upgraded to fair.

Also, the city of Rochester says there will be no parking downtown overnight, as it needs to have streets cleared for snow removal.
