UMD Student Who Spent Night in Subzero Temperatures Continues to Recover

(ABC 6 News) --  The University of Minnesota Duluth student who was hospitalized for severe frostbite continues to recover at home.

She recently posted new pictures including one of her walking with her dog.

Lommel underwent several surgeries including amputation of fingers and toes for injuries sustained from severe frostbite.

Police say she had been out drinking Dec. 6 and was dropped off at her house around midnight.  The next morning a passer-by saw her on the front porch of a neighbors house about nine hours later.
