MASON CITY, Iowa (AP) - A 32-year-old Mason City woman has pleaded guilty to theft for using a bogus credit card to go on a spending spree.
Authorities say Jacqueline Hollenbach had obtained the card by misusing the name of her boyfriend's mother. Police say Hollenbach rang up more than $1,000 in purchases with the bogus card.
The Mason City Globe Gazette says Hollenbach is still scheduled to stand trial in April on charges of identity theft and ongoing criminal conduct.
