(ABC 6 News) -- A Rochester student has been picked by Google to test technology that hasn't even hit the market yet.

Google Glass, which is basically a wearable computer, is now in the hands of Lourdes High School Senior Robert Miller. He's part of the Glass Explorer Program.

Robert says he's the only high school student in Southern Minnesota to have the technology. As a Google Glass Explorer, part of Roberts’s job is to share it with his classmates.

"I just let kids play around with them, put them on, take photos, take videos, play games and get ideas for things to make. More than anything getting impressions and reactions from a different group of people to give feedback to google for,” said Robert Miller, Senior at Lourdes High School.

Robert has created Android apps in the past and is now working to develop apps for Google Glass.
