(ABC 6 NEWS) -- Police say a Rochester woman with a criminal history used her crutches to fracture her boyfriend's hand.
It happened around 9:30 Wednesday night at the 100 block of 8th Avenue SE. Police say the two were having an argument when she slapped him. Police say he slapped her back, then she struck him with a metal crutch.
The woman, 25 year-old Kathlyn Beaugard, already has five prior convictions on her record, three of which are 5th degree assault. The other two convictions include malicious punishment of a child and terroristic threats.
Police say she faces three new charges from this incident, two of which are felony assault.
