(ABC 6 News) -- After months of negotiating, Rochester City's bus company, First Transit, and members of the Amalgated Transit Union, have come to an agreement.

We spoke with Mark Lawson, president of the bus drivers' union, and according to him, ninety percent of union members voted yes to First Transit's proposed contract.

It will include pay increases, back pay, and healthcare rates that both sides feel good about.

This vote will also move things forward for both sides.

The contract will expire next year.
