Woman Involved in Rochester Crash Dies

(ABC 6 NEWS) -- A woman who was involved in a serious crash Monday morning in northwest Rochester has died.

Police say she died Thursday.

The accident happened when the woman was driving north on West River Drive N.W. around 6 o’clock and she lost control of her vehicle sliding into the southbound lane. A driver going south hit her vehicle. She was ejected from her car through the passenger window.

When officers arrived the woman had a weak pulse and was unresponsive. Bystanders had stopped and attempted CPR before first responders had arrived.

She was taken to Mayo Clinic Hospital. The driver of the other vehicle was not injured.

The forensic mapping unit was called in to investigate. The road was closed for several hours.
