John Wade Resigning From Rochester Chamber of Commerce

(ABC 6 News) - John Wade, the President of the Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce is resigning. The announcement was made this morning, however Wade is remaining with the Chamber until the end of the month.

"For over a decade John has faithfully served the members of the Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce and our greater community," said Brent Buchan, Chair of the Board of the Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce. "Through his leadership we've seen tremendous results not only with engagement and growth of our organization, but also advancement in the areas of Workforce & Education, Advocacy and Membership Development."

In the decade that Wade has been at the helm of the organization, membership has grown to over 1,400 members and is the largest in the State. Wade has also been a visible and vocal leader for the historic Destination Medical Center legislation.

Wade is leaving the RACC to become a Partner and the General Manager of Clements Chevrolet Cadillac Subaru.

A Transition Search Committee comprised of Chamber Board members will be named soon and will begin an immediate nationwide search for qualified candidates to replace Wade.
