(ABC 6 NEWS) -- The final crunch is here for those that still need to sign up for MNsure. Earlier this month users were reporting four hour wait times while using the web site.
That may be why insurance broker Bill Nystrom has been busy these past few weeks.
"There's a lot of people calling and sometimes I can't even get to them all," said Nystrom.
As a MNsure certified broker, he says thankfully the web site seems to finally be running smoothly.
"I just did it with a guy in an half an hour," said Nystrom.
But that time seems to be a record. Most people are reporting that it's taking over an hour if not several hours to sign up. With the deadline only 30 hours away Nystrom says to make sure you have all your information together before you start the process.
"Just picking out a plan is easy I can help people with that all day long, it's actually putting the correct numbers from their taxes to find out what they should receive in subsidies that takes time," said Nystrom.
Another tip, he says is to make sure your internet browser it up to date and to avoid applying during peak hours.
"I've gone through a few times where they system is bogged down and it seems like it's always between three and six o'clock," said Nystrom.
Nystrom is positive he will remain busy, but when it comes to whether or not everyone that needs to will be able to make the midnight deadline on Tuesday, he's not so sure.
At last count more than 39,000 Minnesotans had signed up using the MNsure website.
