Passenger Dies Before Plane Makes Emergency Landing in Rochester

(ABC 6 News) - A Sun Country flight made an emergency landing in Rochester Monday after a passenger suffered heart complications.

Rochester Police say the flight was coming from Fort Meyers, Florida and heading to the Minneapolis Saint Paul International Airport.

But just after 8 p.m. the flight had to make and emergency landing at Rochester International Airport for a 77-year-old Shakopee man that was having health complications.

Police say passengers on the plane attempted CPR during the flight. However, by the time the plane landed and the first responders arrived, the man had already passed away.
