Thousands Attend Free Sheryl Crow Concert

(KSTP) - An estimated 15,000 people came out tonight to catch the show, which was headlined by Sheryl Crow.

In addition, to the money and food that were collected tonight for local distribution, Canadian Pacific made a donation of $25,000 to The Friends in Need Food Shelf. Canadian Pacific also donated $100,000 to Feeding America.

The Holiday Train left on Sunday for the remaining portion of its 2013 tour that began in Scranton, Penn., on November 26.

Along with Crow, the show featured Take 6 and The Claytones. The Claytones is the Holiday Train band performing at the other stops.

The 'train of lights' then continues through Minnesota this coming week to Glenwood, Alexandria, Detroit Lakes, Winger, Plummer, Thief River Falls and Elbow Lake before heading into North Dakota where it will wrap up its U.S. journey on December 18.
