(ABC 6 News) -- The St. Paul and Minneapolis Archdiocese says 30 of the priests have credible accusations against them, while four others face unsubstantiated claims.
Among the clergy members listed -- Father Thomas Adamson is a current resident of Rrochester. We told you about some of the accusations against him this past summer.
Bill Beardmore is part of the lawsuit filed to get the names released. He told us father Adamson abused him when he was an altar boy in Caledonia 50 years ago.
Another priest listed, Father Dennis Kampa, was a priest and administrator for the Church of St. Michael in Pine Island and in Kenyon from 1989 to 1990. Father Paul Palmitessa was also listed -- he was at the church of St. Paul in Zumbrota from 1979 to 1982.
Many of the names released were already known through either criminal charges or lawsuits. Some of the name are new to the public domain, but that still isn't enough for some Catholics who are concerned about abuse in the church.
"They haven't been forthcoming, they haven't been honest, and they haven't been transparent," Catholic Tom Williams said. "I'd love the see the archbishop go someplace else."
We did reach out to the local parishes; however, they declined to make a comment.
Again, the Diocese of Winona has until January 17th to release the names of its priests.
