(ABC 6 News) -- Austin residents may have noticed something missing at one of its parks.
The city is taking down trees at Mill Pond and along Main Street to prepare for construction of flood berms and walls.

However, the city did say it plans to replace those trees.  For each project, they will plant 40 new trees, which means a total of 80 new ones.
