NORTHWOOD, Iowa (AP) - A retaliation and sexual harassment lawsuit against the Worth County Development Authority and six board members has been dismissed.
The Mason City Globe Gazette says the lawsuit was filed by the agency's former director, Kim Koenigs, of Plymouth. She was director from Sept. 1, 2003, to June 25, 2012. The lawsuit named the agency and six board members. It was dismissed last month.
Koenigs' lawsuit alleged retaliation in violation of public policy, infliction of emotional distress, sexual harassment and a hostile work environment.
Koenig's attorney, Roxanne Conlin, says the case was "satisfactorily resolved." Agency board member Kenny Abrams says the case "turned out very favorable for the (agency) and for all involved." They did not elaborate.
