Franklin County Offers Reward In Search For Man
HAMPTON, Iowa (AP) - The Franklin County Sheriff's Office is offering a $20,000 reward for information that helps find a Hampton man who has been missing for more than a month.
The Mason City Globe Gazette reports five people donated toward the reward in hopes it will help find 22-year-old Ethan Kazmerzak.
He was last seen about midnight Sept. 15 at a party in rural Franklin County.
Franklin County Sheriff Larry Richtsmeier held a news conference Wednesday, where he speculated Kazmerzak isn't in Franklin County.
Searchers have scoured the county by land and air several times, and farmers have harvested their fields without any sign of the man.
The reward deadline is Dec. 2.
Those with information should call Hampton police at 641-456-2529 or Crime Stopper of North Central Iowa at 800-383-0088.
