Money and Community Painting Donated to Ronald McDonald House
(ABC 6 NEWS) -- A work of art created by some of you is now at the Ronald McDonald house in Rochester.
It was created at Thursdays on First and Third this summer in collaboration with the Rochester International Airport and Allegiant Airlines.
People could drop off monetary donations at the booth, then dip dodge balls in paint, and throw them at a canvas.
The finished product plus the $250 dollars raised, were donated.
"Being a key travel conduit to the community and Mayo, we wanted to help alleviate some of that stress and so it seemed to be a natural gift for us. So that's why we partnered up up with the Ronald McDonald house and certainly you'll see more of this coming in the future," said Marty Lenss, with the Rochester Iinternational Airport
The Ronald McDonald house can now choose to either hang the artwork, or auction it off for more funds for the organization.
