18-Year-Old Shooting Victim Still in Critical Condition
(ABC 6 News) - Police say after extensive investigations over the weekend into a Thursday night shooting they are still looking into multiple possibilities. Including that the shooting may have been accidental.
Rochester police say an 18-year-old shooting victim is still in critical condition.
The shooting happened around 11:30 p.m. Thursday night at a home on the 200 block of 15th Ave. S.E. When police arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound to his head, lying in the garage.
He was taken to Saint Marys Hospital. At the time police said he was in "very critical condition."
There may have been a gathering at the house prior to the shooting, according to authorities.
Nearby residents tell ABC 6 News there was a another shooting at one of the neighbor's homes earlier this summer and they believe the two shootings are connected. However, police are not confirming that.
Authorities say, at the moment, there are no suspects. But officers are interviewing witnesses.
