State Patrol Responds to Several Crashes on Interstates

(ABC 6 NEWS) -- Icy road conditions Monday night and Tuesday morning are noted as factors in three crashes.

The first happened on interstate 90 in Freeborn county around 9 p.m. Monday, when a truck hit an icy patch and rolled. Two people from Titonka, IA were in the vehicle, one sustained minor injuries, the other person's condition wasn't noted.

Two crashes Tuesday morning on interstate 35 are also being blamed on the icy roads.

Around 8:45 a.m. in Steele County, an SUV hit an icy patch and rolled into the median.  Two adults and a baby inside received minor injuries.

About an hour later on I35 in Freeborn county, a similar situation took place.  A truck hit ice and rolled into the center median.  The driver wasn't seriously hurt.
