Police Say Hit & Run Suspect Had .173 Blood Alcohol Content

(ABC 6 News) - A Rochester man is in custody after a hit and run accident Thursday night.

According to Rochester Police, Eric Lopez Martinez, was driving on West Silver Lake Drive when he sideswiped a biker in the bike lane and continued driving.

The biker suffered minor injuries. Police were able to pull over and arrest Lopez Martinez minutes later on the 1700 block of N Broadway.

Martinez was arrested for DUI as well as the hit and run. Police say his blood alcohol level was at .173. The legal limit in Minnesota in .08.
