(ABC 6 News) - Hundreds of people showed up for the opening of the new Mayo Clinic Business Accelerator at the Minnesota BioBusiness Center in Rochester Friday morning.
The spaces at the Mayo Clinic Business Accelerator were quick to fill up, with 9 companies signing their leases before the opening. And James Rogers, Chair of Mayo Clinic Ventures, says there’s already talk about what’s next in terms of expansion.
The accelerator is designed to stimulate growth of bio-business around Mayo Clinic research.
The spaces can be leased by existing companies, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists and professional service providers.
