Email to a FriendAustin Arby's and KFC Broken Into
(ABC 6 News) -- Austin police are investigating two break-ins at local restaurants.
Thursday morning just after 6:30, Arby's was broken into. Police found the back door pried open but no one inside. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken from the safe. There are currently no suspects.
About an hour later, officers responded to the KFC for another break-in. Police found the backdoor had been tampered with. The culprits attempted to gain entry in the safe but were unsuccessful. There are no suspects.
Police believe these two cases are related.
