Email to a FriendEmergency Parking In Effect In Austin
(ABC 6 NEWS) -- The city of Austin implemented snow emergency parking restrictions on Friday morning.
The restrictions became effective at 8 a.m. and will last 72 hours unless city officials decide to cancel them earlier.
The snow emergency means residents must park on the even side of the street on even calendar days, and the odd side of the street on odd calendar days.
The majority of the city’s primary thruways were cleared Friday morning and city officials will continue to work on side streets throughout the day.
