Two Runaway Teens Charged after House Fire

(ABC 6 NEWS) -- Two North Iowa teenagers are facing charges after a house fire Thursday.
Police say they responded to a home fire at 1619 south Wilson Ave. around 5 p.m. An investigation lead authorities to believe the fire was arson.
During that time, a suspicious subject was spotted at a nearby repair shop. The two teenagers were found inside a car, attempted to steal it.
The 13-year-old is charged with arson and theft. The 14-year-old was charged with arson, theft and interference with official acts.
The pair are runaways from Francis Lauer Youth Shelter.
They are being held at the Waterloo Juvenile Detention Center.
