15 More Flu Deaths Reported Last Week

(ABC 6 News) -- While the flu outbreak in Minnesota is slowing down, the threat is still there. Last week saw another 15 people die bringing the total to 127 this season.

The Minnesota Department of Health says 108 more people were also hospitalized during the week which stretched from January 27th through February 2nd. 2,612 people in all have been hospitalized.

The flu continue to be a problem in schools as well with 19 schools reporting outbreaks last week bringing that total to 434.

The good news, state health officials did say last week, they believe the flu season has peaked.
