(ABC 6 NEWS) -- A Rochester man has been found guilty of a violent sex assault against a 2-year-old girl.
32-year-old Eric Knutson was charged with causing an injury so severe the child required surgery. The abuse was discovered by a daycare worker.
Knutson denied any wrongdoing, but a jury concluded otherwise.
Knutson faces a maximum of 35 years in prison.
