Seat Belt Enforcement Crackdown Results

(ABC 6 News) -- The Olmsted County Sheriff's office is releasing the numbers for their latest seat belt enforcement crack down.

County deputies and Rochester police worked an extra 163 hours this month. They caught 168 people for not wearing their seatbelts. They also handed out 22 speeding tickets and found 11 people without licenses. Freeborn County had 13 seat belt citations

The next special enforcement is set for November. Officers will spend extra time looking for drunk drivers and excessive speed.
