NYC Braces for Megastorm

NEW YORK (AP) - Mass transit, schools and financial markets in the Eastern Seaboard's largest cities are closed today as a strengthened Hurricane Sandy takes aim on the region where millions have fled low-lying and coastal areas.

Sandy is on a collision course with two other weather systems that would create a superstorm with the potential for havoc from the East Coast to the Great Lakes affecting up to 50 million people.
