Former Minnesota Teacher and Hollywood Actor Faces Sexual Misconduct Charges

 (ABC 6 News) -- A Hollywood Actor and a former teacher at one of the countries most notable hockey schools` is accused of having sexual contact with students.

What started as a tip to an Olmsted County Corrections employee, has lead to 70-year-old Lynn Seibel facing 17 criminal charges.

The Hollywood actor, famous for roles in The Big Bang Theory, Murder She Wrote and the movie The Mighty Ducks Three, is accused of having sexual contact with six male students over a period is seven years.

Monday, Shattuck St. Mary's school in Faribault calls these allegations repugnant and profoundly sad.

According to the criminal complaint, the disturbing details describe the former Shaddock St. Mary's teacher as a practiced predator.

"There have been 6 victims in this case the charges relate to the 6 victims," says Agent Drew Evans with the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.

According to police, Seibel's victims each describe special "sessions" with several boys at one time, in rooms with dimmed lights.

"Pornographic parties where there was masturbation on the part of the students, also, a ruler was used to measure the students (penises)," says Chief Don Gudmundson with the Faribault Police Department.

Seibel was a dorm-parent, meaning he lived and had access to the students on campus. According to the complaint, some of the abuse occurred *in* the dorms. "Including disturbing allegations that some of the activities occurred in classrooms," says Evans.

Seibel is also accused of organizing naked shower parties, "he did show up all the time in the showers when the students were in the showers," says Gudmunson. Students would even take bets on how long it would take Seibel to show up, once the showers were turned on.

One victim describes an encounter with Seibel, saying he turned to Seibel for council, and was groped instead.

Lynn Seibel was investigated by the school back in 2003 after thousands of child pornography images were found on his work computer. But according to the school, they couldn't confirm it, so he was never criminally charged and left the school that year.

He is currently in custody in Los Angeles, CA. Stay with ABC 6 News for the latest on the investigation.
