Iowa Woman Arrested for Embezzlement

(ABC 6 News) -- An Iowa woman has been arrested for first degree theft and the possible embezzlement of thousands of dollars.

Mason City police arrested 42-year-old Julie Fingalsen of Plymouth. Investigators believe Fingalsen embezzled over $40,000 from the optometry business she worked at between February 2011 and this September.

She faces up to 10 years in prison and up to $10,000 in fines.

This is the second time Fingalsen's been arrested for theft from an employer. She previously pled guilty to stealing over $20,000 from another employer in 2009.
