Rochester School's iPad Plans Rejected

(ABC 6 News) -- The Minnesota Department of Education rejected the Rochester school district's plan to give iPads to most of its students.

On Tuesday the school board decided to take out a request for 3.1 million dollars worth of equipment.

iPads have been a major part of the school's future technology ambitions. Something superintendent Michael Munoz has said is key to future learning.

The district will now have to find another source of funding for the apple technology. The school board passed a revised request.
