Email to a FriendTwo Men Arrested for Counterfeiting
(ABC 6)- A growing nuisance in SE Minnesota. Counterfeit $20 bills being found at several banks and businesses.
Rochester Police have arrested two men that could be responsible for some of the bills.
Officers were executing search warrants for entirely different crimes when they found 56 $20 bills in two hotel rooms and a motor vehicle.
The occupants of those two hotel rooms both have warrants out for their arrest.
They are now being held in Rochester and face additional charges for counterfeiting.
These bills have been turning up all over SE Minnesota.
Officials recently found them at the Rochester Taco Bell, NW Super America, the Byron McDonald's, 3-D Sports Bar, and a bank in Byron.
