Dusting of Snow Could Cause Problems for Evening Commute

January 02, 2018 02:52 PM

While temperatures may be warmer Tuesday, a light dusting of snow could cause some headaches for evening commuters.

According to KSTP Chief Meteorologist Dave Dahl, the snow is expected to hit right around rush hour. Dahl says it will not be enough snow to play in, but enough to make the roads messy. It should wrap up by mid-evening, he said.

Temperatures rose slightly on Tuesday, reaching a high of 13 degrees in the Twin Cities. Dahl says this is the first time temperatures have reached double digits since Dec. 28.

Temperatures are expected to drop back down to single digits through Friday, but will reach double digits again Saturday.

Another round of snow is expected Sunday.
