Friday Stays Chilly, Warmth Returns this Weekend

November 10, 2017 08:56 AM

It's the coldest morning we've had since March 14th, but warmer air is returning to the area.

Chief Morning Meteorologist Ken Barlow says the Twin Cities tied a record low Thursday night, a 12 degree low last seen on that date in 1945.

The chilly bite in the air will remain through much of Friday and there's a chance for flurries, but Barlow says this weekend will usher in a week of warmer weather.

Veterans Day temperatures are expected to get into the lower 40's, and there's a good chance we'll see the return of 50 degrees next week.
