(ABC 6 NEWS) -- With player turnout not any better than it has been the past couple years, it'd be easy for the Century football team to get down about the situation, but the Panthers haven't let it affect the way they practice.
Call them the positive Panthers.
"We've got a great group of kids," Century head coach Jon Vik said. "It's very enjoyable to work with these guys."
"You practice how you play," Century fullback/linebacker Alex Ney said. "You've got to work like it's Friday every day."
The Panthers open the season at Mankato East Aug. 29.
