Iowa Authorities Arrest Two in Connection to Prostitution Ring

(ABC 6 News) - Authorities in northern Iowa says they've arrested two women in connection with a local prostitution ring.

Elizabeth Seals and Vanessa Fandohan, both of Mason City, were arrested on Thursday. , 29 of Mason City were arrested. Seals is charged with Prostitution and Fandoham is charged with Aiding and abetting Prostitution.

Investigators with the North Central Iowa Narcotics Task Force say they became aware of the prostitution ring while conducting a drug investigation.  They say this activity has been going on in the area for some time.  The case is still under investigation. 

The Prostitution and Aiding and Abetting Prostitution charges are both aggravated misdemeanors punishable by up to 2 years in jail and a fine not to exceed $6,250 dollars.
