A couple rounds of showers and thunderstorms are on the way in the next 48 hours as a storm system takes shape to our southwest.
The first wave arrives tonight as a warm front nudges it's way northward. The warm/moist air is overrunning the front sparking activity on the northern side. Storms are expected to be elevated and should take most of the severe risk away. A strong storm producing hail can't be completely ruled out but widespread severe weather is not anticipated.
