(ABC 6 News) - Authorities in Kellogg say they've discovered a body inside a home on North First Street South, after using a robot to search the inside of the home. Authorities haven't confirmed it yet, but hint that it may have been a suicide.
Authorities say a roommate heard a gunshot inside the home around 5:30 this morning. Police discovered the other roommates body around 10:20.
The Wabasha-Kellogg school district, which is located between the two communities, was put into a soft lockdown. Superintendent Jim Freihammer tells ABC 6 News the schools went into the soft lockdown as soon as all the students were inside, but says it was purely precautionary.
