Freeborn County Shooting Arrest

(ABC 6 NEWS) -- A Clarks Grove man is behind bars accused of shooting at another man.

The Freeborn County Sheriff's Office took a call around 1:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon. The alleged victim said he had an argument with 66-year-old Ronald Hanson and Hanson pointed a gun at him and fired it. The man was able to get out of the house and call 911 without being hurt.

When deputies, along with the Albert Lea Police Department and the MN State Patrol arrived on scene, they set up a staging area away from the suspect’s house.   A phone call was made to Hanson to try to get him out of the house.  Authorities say Hanson eventually came out and was taken into custody without incident.

Hanson was arrested for 2nd degree assault. He's not yet been to court.
