The man alleged to have killed a 20 month old toddler nearly 2 decades ago made his initial court appearance today.
Michael Jason Cisneros is now being held on a cash bond of a half million dollars after his appearance via closed circuit TV in Cerro Gordo County Magistrate Court at around noon Tuesday
Yesterday Cisneros was arrested and charged with 1st Degree Murder in the death of John Snyder Jr. after being taken into custody at a Work Release Facility in Dubuque where he was staying on an unrelated prior conviction.
Cisneros was named as the lead suspect after DNA evidence collected in 1994 and analyzed in 2002 came up a match in January 2013 on a national DNA data base.
