Three days after Kira Trevino's body was identified after being pulled out of the Mississippi River, her family was helping volunteers find Mandy Matula of Eden Prairie.

Mandy Matula has been missing since May 1, after she was seen with her ex-boyfriend.

Crews fanned out all across Minnesota Saturday searching for Mandy Matula.

About 300 volunteers showed up in Victoria. There were even more up in St. Cloud, Sartell, and Waconia.

Kira's family, the Steger family, showed up in Waconia to search for Mandy Matual.

It's a scene we've grown all too accustomed to seeing nearly every weekend; search volunteers looking for a missing woman.

This search was like no other.

Saturday the Steger's met the Matulas on a quest for closure.

Jay Steger knows how difficult it is to go out and search for your own family member; he searched every weekend for his daughter Kira.

And now that she's been found, he, and Kira's aunt Tammy Guyton and cousin are helping the

Matula family look for 24-year-old Mandy.

With Kira found Wednesday, and the missing Oakdale woman, Danielle Jelinek, found Friday, the hope of finding Mandy is sky-high.

Many of the volunteers wore lime green t-shirts with 'Minnesota United' written across the front.

Mandy's brother, Steven Matula, started the volunteer group, "Minnesota United," to search for anyone that goes missing, even after Mandy is found.
