New Developments in Cases of Lansing Shooting
(ABC 6 News) -- New developments in the court cases of a father and son accused in the shooting of a woman near Austin.
As we reported both men were charged with a combined nine felonies including attempted murder.
Friday, 27-year-old Joseph Peterson pled guilty to two counts of second degree assault with a dangerous weapon.
While the case for his father, 62-year-old Daniel Peterson, who faces an attempted murder charge, will move to a jury trial.
Both men are accused of opening fire on a car with three people inside last November nearing Lansing.
A 30-year-old woman in the driver's seat was shot in the face, who has since been released from the hospital.
Currently court dates have not been scheduled for either case.
