Storm Spotter Classes Coming Up
If you're interested in weather, listen up. The National Weather Service is holding Skywarn Storm Spotter Trainings across southeast Minnesota and north Iowa over the next couple of months.
The volunteer program helps provide vital information to the National Weather Service in an effort to keep the public updated in the event of severe weather.
There is no cost to attend.
Here's a look at the upcoming trainings.
Plainview - March 7 - City Hall @ 6:30pm
Garner - March 14 - Hancock Co. Sheriff's Office 7pm
Osage - March 19 - Osage Fire Department @ 6:30pm
Rochester - April 1 - Rochester Events Center @ 6:30pm
Mason City - March 11 - **Rescheduled to April 1** - Mason City Police Department @ 6:30pm
Albert Lea - March 18 - **Rescheduled to April 15th** Riverland Community College @ 7pm Mabel - April 22 - Mabel Canton Public School @ 6:30pm
