Wagner gives verbal to Gophers

(ABC 6 NEWS) -- One of Minnesota's best high school basketball players will continue her playing career at the state's flagship school.

NRHEG junior Carlie Wagner announced her verbal commitment to the University of Minnesota Friday.

Wagner helped lead the Panthers to the Class AA state tournament last year, where they finished third.

Wagner chose the Gophers over Iowa State, among other schools.
