Iowa Woman Leads Police On Chase
(ABC 6 News) -- A Mason City woman has been arrested after leading authorities on a chase.
It happened Friday afternoon at 12:30. Cerro Gordo County deputies attempted to stop 42-year-old Jennifer Collins near 5th and South Federal for expired license plates and felony warrants.
Collins then led deputies and other law enforcement on a chase for several miles ending on I-35 near 193 mile marker exit in Clear Lake. Authorities had to deploy stop sticks to stop the pursuit.
Collins has been charged Forgery and theft, operating while under the influence, eluding law enforcement, reckless driving, no driver's license, and operation without registration.
