Chaska police say a 16-year-old Chaska boy has died after he was critically wounded by an arrow shot by his friend.
Police say Spencer Swanson died from his injuries Monday evening at Hennepin County Medical Center.
Swanson was riding a bike when the arrow hit him in the head. His friend says it was an accident.
Chaska Police Chief Scott Knight said the aluminum-shaft arrow didn't have a sharp tip on the end of it, but it still caused critical injuries.
Police are investigating the incident, and will determine if charges will be filed against the 16-year-old who shot the arrow.
